pillows – blankets / padjast – tekist collaborative exhibition with glass artist Andra Jõgis 1.10.21–30.10.21 at Nelja Nurga Gallery on Hiiumaa island of Estonia blown glass pillows, blankets of different colours and sizes, goose feathers, acrylic small-sized illustrations on transparent paper The exhibition pillows-blankets features works on the border of sleep and wakefulness, where artists interpret the doubts and hesitations that strike them just before falling asleep, and sometimes blend into the first minutes of dreams. The artists try to capture the beauty and vulnerability of that short moment - where we can no longer muffle our thoughts with the noise of everyday life, but have not yet escaped the fantasy of dreams. There is no room to hide under the blanket and on the pillow.
